Image Displacement Distortion Image #1: I used 6 different layers of an original trash bag photograph in Adobe Photoshop. As each layer progressed, so did the amount of distortion. There’s a distortion filter on each image, and in each layer I implemented different brush strokes, with colors. I also used the eraser to create different textures and a gradient on one of the distorted layers. Displacement Distortion Image #2: There were 5 different layers that went into this creation on Photoshop. I used the same concepts as the image above such as painting, erasing, and distortion. The image is originally a photograph of glitter up close. Glitch Art #1: Taking an image off of the web of a zebra, I created this Glitch Art by saving the image file as a .jpg, and then going back and forth from converting it to a .txt file. Touching the body of the text file, I was able to create these green lines as well as some image zooming effects. Glitch Art #2: Grabbing an image of a fantasy outer space image, I converted the file from .jpg to .txt often and kept going back and forth between conversions until I got this Glitch Art.
